Temple Committee Elections Scheduled for June 7; Nominations Open Till May 31

Six Key Posts to Be Filled; Withdrawal Deadline June 3, Voting by Ballot if Required

Chandigarh, May 5 — The executive committee elections of the Shri Kaushalendra Sita Ram Mandir Sabha, Sector 19-C, will be held on June 7, 2026. The temple management has issued a detailed election schedule outlining the process for the selection of office bearers.

According to the official announcement, elections will be conducted for six key posts, including President, Vice President (Male), Vice President (Female), General Secretary, Finance Secretary, and Joint Secretary. Eligible and interested members of the Sabha will be allowed to participate in the electoral process.

The General Secretary of the Sabha informed that members इच्छुक to contest elections must submit their nomination forms by May 31. Each nomination must be duly recommended by two members and submitted in a sealed envelope to the Chief Priest, Pandit Vijay Ji.

As per the schedule, June 3 has been fixed as the last date for withdrawal of nominations. Thereafter, the final list of candidates will be published. If required, voting will be conducted through ballot papers on the day of polling.
